Google have just announced a change to PPC that will enable advertisers to easily compare cost data from AdWords in Analytics. This newly enabled feature may be the start of Google’s plans to help Irish SME businesses export more and grow their business!
In a nutshell..
This Automatic AdWords Currency Conversion feature means that Google Analytics will automatically convert cost data from Google AdWords (Cost, CPC and ROAS) in the currency that is set in the Google Analytics account.
Google uses the exchange rate at the midpoint of the date range selected in Analytics.
“For example, if you are viewing a time period from January 5th to 19th, we will use the rate from January 12th to convert your AdWords cost data to the currency of your GA account.”
